What is Spinal Molding?

Phase I - Week 1

  1. Begin with the following Range of Motion exercises to warm up. Start with 5 repetitions of each movement and work up to 10 within 3 days.
  2. Once the warm-ups are completed at night, lie on the neck support and lower back support for only 20 minutes. During the 20 minutes, the fluid in the discs previously warmed up will cool to a hydro-gel state and set up for the night in the curves that are necessary for spinal stability. Spinal Molding relaxes the spine, thereby preparing for rest and sleep. DO NOT SLEEP ON THESE SUPPORTS! Set an alarm clock for 20 minutes.
  3. Gently remove the wedges and switch to a pillow. For optimal results reduce movement between performing Spinal Molding and going to sleep.

Phase II - Week 2

  1. Begin with the same Range of Motion Exercises as in Phase I. Do 10 repetitions of each movement
  1. Once the warm-ups are completed at night, you will be using the neck support and lower back fulcrum. Start with 3 minutes using the new wedge and switch back to the lower back support until a total of 15 minutes is reached. Gradually build up to a total of 15 minutes of using just the neck support and lower back fulcrum. Move your lower back wedge from Phase I to your car to use as a lumbar support.
  2. Gently remove the wedges and switch to a pillow. For optimal results reduce movement between performing Spinal Molding and going to sleep.

Phase III - Week 3 and Beyond

  1. Begin with the same Range of Motion Exercises as in Phase I. Do 10 repetitions of each movement
  1. Add the Beginner Fulcrum Exercises found in the Packet. These may be done before bed or during your regular exercise routine. However, make sure that you complete the warm-ups prior to any Fulcrum use.
  2. Once the warm-ups are completed at night, you will be using the neck support and lower back fulcrum until a total of 15 minutes is reached.
  3. Gently remove the wedges and switch to a pillow. For optimal results reduce movement between performing Spinal Molding and going to sleep.
