Dr. Eric Janowitz, a Chiropractor and Florida native, is the founder of Synergy Oviedo Chiropractic. He has served the Central Florida community since 2000, has overseen the evaluation of over 17,000 local residents, and has personally performed over 250,000 Chiropractic Adjustments. He created an award winning practice that has invested in assembling a physician team that has over 45 years of combined clinical experience to create the most comprehensive experience for patients providing a unique blend of services that typically are not conveniently in one facility. Synergy was designed to be comprehensive, current, upbeat, and family oriented employing, a team to provide a “Ritz Carlton” experience.

He completed his undergraduate studies at University of Florida and subsequently the prestigious Logan College of Chiropractic. He obtained two Bachelor’s Degrees, one in Psychology and another in Human Biology, as well as his Doctorate in Chiropractic in 1999. He is married to Dawn, who grew up in Oviedo, and has two amazing children- Asher and Journey. You can often see Dr. Janowitz in the community at local events or speaking at area businesses, organizations, and even at UCF.

Dr. Janowitz utilizes many chiropractic techniques to help patients of all ages gently correct pressure off their spine in the most comfortable and efficient manner. His focus is on family chiropractic care, non-surgical disc decompression care, deep tissue laser therapy for extremity pain, TMJD, and automobile injuries.

Seeing the need to help those injured in motor vehicle accidents, Dr. Janowitz earned an additional intensive certification in whiplash and car accident trauma with Dr Croft from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. Dr. Janowitz is active in the medical- legal arena often educating attorney, paralegals, and patients on the devastating effects of car accident injuries.

Additionally, since struggling with his own spinal issues of scoliosis and disc problems as a young man, he has developed protocols to specially help patients out with these painful conditions. The result of these personal health challenges created a desire for Dr. Janowitz to want to become a Chiropractor at age 9. Dr. Janowitz enjoys working with local Orthopedic surgeons in co-managing complicated disc injury cases by providing non surgical spinal decompression therapy as a means to avoid drug therapy, epidural injections, or back surgery.

He also invests in the most technological equipment to help patients with extremity issues heal with deep tissue cold laser therapy. He employees non drug, non surgical techniques for extremity pain by using a combination of deep tissue laser therapy, specific chiropractic adjustments to the extremity as well as the spinal areas that influence the extremity, and rehabilitation exercises to strengthen the injured area.

Dr. Janowitz also enjoys co-managing care with local Dentists for conditions associated with jaw pain called, TMJD. Dr. Janowitz has taken additional training on helping patients with this painful condition and utilizes several different techniques including deep tissue laser therapy, muscle release techniques, home care, and specific gentle adjustments to the TMJ to restore function and eliminate pain.

Overall, this “Synergy” approach (which means combining multiple healing arts working together to provide a level of healing that is superior then doing each one separately) has helped thousands achieve their best life ever.
