FAQs

How do I schedule my first appointment?

First, welcome, and we are happy that you are taking the first step towards seeing how our Synergy approach can help you reach your goals! You can find a convenient day and time by clicking here and take advantage of our $27 Community New Patient Special that includes a complete examination and digital spinal X-rays.

What should I expect during my initial examination?

The impression most people have about our new patients is that we are thorough and we listen, often for the first time in a patient’s journey, to solve their underlying issues. We take the time to listen to your complaints and the impact they are having on your life. We then perform 4 additional testing steps, including digitized posture, movement screening, specific hand palpation, and on-site digital X-rays. We base your care on two things- your goals and these 5 elements. Every plan of care we create has built-in progress exams and re-evaluations where we can carefully and scientifically track and measure your progress.

Will X-rays be taken during my first appointment?

We offer convenient, on-site digital X-rays if needed.

How long will my first appointment take?

Expect a detailed evaluation process approximately lasting 45 minutes. This will be one of the most important 45 minutes you have invested in improving your health.

What should I wear to my first appointment?

Feel free to wear comfortable, ideally form-fitting clothes so we can visualize your posture more easily. Please refrain from necklaces or heavy earrings. Small piercings are fine.

Will the chiropractor discuss a treatment plan during my first appointment?

We believe in taking the time to fully understand your condition and your goals. Additionally, we believe in using objective assessments, including X-rays, to analyze the cause of your problem. Finally, we also believe in teamwork, as we have a team of doctors and clinical staff here at Synergy who will work together to help you win.

The first visit is about the doctor and team understanding your case. Then, we take the time to collaborate and create an action plan to achieve your health goals. We discuss that plan on your follow-up visit, which typically occurs 1-3 days after your first visit. We may provide some emergency treatment on your first visit if needed.

Will the chiropractor adjust me during my first appointment?

Although we often take the first visit to assess your condition fully, we may provide some emergency treatment on your first visit if needed.

What type of conditions does the chiropractor treat?

Chiropractors are specialized doctors who focus on the spine and its direct impact to the nervous system. Besides pressure on nerves that can cause pain, other symptoms can be numbness, tingling, or weakness to areas of the back and extremities. In addition, the nerves also send strength and energy to all of your glands and organs so we have seen patients with other issues like digestion, breathing, sleep, and energy also improve by incorporating Chiropractic as part of their health program.

Chiropractors attend schools with similar hours and course requirements as their medical counterparts, expect instead of focusing heavy on pharmacology and surgery, we focus more on physiology and natural methods to help people get well naturally.

How long is each appointment, and how often will I need to visit?

Typical visits are about 20-30 minutes long and often include a combination of chiropractic care and physical therapy, which work together to produce even better results. We also leverage additional modern novel technology further to accelerate the healing of injured, damaged tissue. The amount of care is based on two things- your goals and our findings.

What are the costs associated with visiting a chiropractor?

Chiropractic care is incredibly affordable, especially in the long run in the returns it provides in terms of natural health, reduction of dependence on lifetime use of drugs, and less likelihood of surgery. We offer our patients multiple plans based on their goals, which are affordable for anyone who wants to reach their goals, correct their underlying issues, and solve them in a natural way.

Does the chiropractor accept my insurance?

Insurance is helpful in starting the process of feeling better and providing relief. The problem with insurance is that all of them have limits on what and how much they cover. Insurance companies are in the business of collecting premiums and paying out as little benefit as possible, which often means that they fail to offer comprehensive benefits to fully cover everything you need to correct your problem fully or to stay healthy and strong. We have provided a more complete approach to helping our community reach its health goals by providing affordable care for the entire spectrum of care without the limits of insurance. We are proud to provide this solution to over 20,000 area residents. Simply bring your insurance card to your first visit, and we will provide a complimentary benefits check.

What is the chiropractor's cancellation policy?

Just like eating healthily or exercising, consistency and a commitment to a plan of care are keys to success. But we realize that life happens. We have an advanced app for our patients that easily allows our patients to schedule or change appointments. We do not charge for missed appointments.

Does the chiropractor use any specific techniques?

Since “every body” is different, we use multiple types of techniques to help patients get their spine adjusted. Although most enjoy the release and sound of a good cracking, others do better with instrument or table-assisted approaches that may be gentler on their body. We always take the time to listen to you and analyze the safest and best approach to correcting your spine. If something worked well in the past, we can often use that approach. Again, comfort and effectiveness are paramount
