What is Deep Tissue Laser Therapy?
Treatment with a deep tissue laser – also known as Class IV laser – uses a process known as photobiomodulation. In this process, photons flood the tissues which result in improved circulation in areas of injury. This improvement in circulation is part of a biological cascade that leads to increased cellular metabolism.
This cascade induces a series of natural biological healing responses that allow your body to heal itself. All of this adds up to a reduction in inflammation and a decrease in pain.
